July 21 - Stay at a remote cabin on the banks of the beautiful Chena River, visit and swim at Chena Hot Springs Resort, and start native beading projects in the evening. 

 

July 22 - Hike Angel Rocks, go gold panning at Gold Daughters (www.golddaughters.com).

 

July 23 - In the Morning, enjoy a live dance performance by Alaska native youth while making your own porcupine quill earrings at the Morrison Thompson Cultural and Visitors Center (www.morristhompsoncenter.org). Drive the beautiful and historic Parks Highway taking pictures at breathtaking outlooks on way to Denali National Park.  Orientation and activities at the DENALI Mountain Morning Hostel .

 

July 24 - Hike in Denali National Park, visit to a local sled dog kennel, and 2 hour Alaska Geographic presentation at the Murie Science and Learning Center on Denali National Park and the fascinating discoveries being made at Denali.

 

July 25 - Participants choose from either a zipline adventure (www.denalizipline.com) or class 4 whitewater rafting (www.raftdenali.com). 

 

July 26 - Drive to Chugiak and stay at Birchwood Camp in Chugiak.  Participate in the Challenge Course

 

July 27 - Swimming, paddle boarding, or canoeing at Birchwood Camp.

 

July 28 & 29 - Drive historic Seward Highway south to Seward and stay at Miller’s Landing .  Enjoy picturesque ocean kayaking, visit world famous Sea Life Center and do hike to Exit Glacier.

 

July 30 - Drive to Anchorage and all day tour. Prepare for flight.
